Research and development projects including
Open-sourced LLM models
Automatic evaluation methods for entertainment MT
Multimodal MT for manga / comics
OCR for onomatopoeia on manga / comics
ML-based typesetting engine for manga translation
Basic Qualifications
Master's or Ph.D. in machine learning, or at least 2 years of practical experience in the field.
Experience planning and conducting research projects that result in publications in peer-reviewed journals (or equivalent).
Experience in training machine learning models and improving task accuracy
Preferred Skills
- PhD in CS, EE, or equivalent fields
- Experience as the first author in top conferences such as ACL, NAACL, EMNLP, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, AAAI, IJCAI
- Experience in development with advanced technologies such as LLMs and diffusion models
- Experience in application development such as web services
- Japanese language skill (JLPT N2+)
