Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end design process, from conceptualization to UI design and prototyping, for empathy-driven AI communication experiences.
Design and refine intuitive and warm conversational interfaces, considering emotional nuance and context.
Explore and implement multimodal interactions that seamlessly blend voice, text, and visual elements.
Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and AI researchers to drive the development of innovative product ideas and features.
Independently lead both qualitative and quantitative user research to inform and validate design decisions.
Rapidly deliver product iterations in a highly uncertain domain, embracing feedback loops for continuous improvement.
Who We're Looking For:

Candidates passionate about making a positive impact on users and society through innovative products.
Someone who actively uses AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Midjourney) in their daily life and possesses a deep interest in human-AI interaction.

Required Skills

Minimum 3 years of practical experience in UX/UI design for digital products.
Proven ability to create prototypes using tools like Figma or similar software.
Experience independently designing and conducting user research, including usability testing and user interviews.

Preferred Skills

Experience designing voice interfaces, chatbots, or conversational AI products.
Basic knowledge or practical experience with AI, Natural Language Processing (NLP), or Machine Learning (ML) technologies.
Skills in UI animation, motion graphics, or interaction design.
Compensation:
Salary is negotiable based on experience and skills.
A stock option (SO) plan is available, reflecting performance and contribution to the company.
Work Style:
This role is primarily based at our Akasaka office.
Remote work arrangements may be discussed and are potentially negotiable.
