We're looking for a Back-End Engineer to champion our shippio logistics engine. You will lead the design and implementation of new API features, ensuring our system is scalable, reliable, and strategically aligned with our ambitious business goals. Join us in our mission drive the evolution of trade and establishing future standards.
What will you do?
Join our development team to enhance our advanced logistics platform.
Collaborate with product managers and designers to implement new features.
Participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
Grow your skills through teamwork, brainstorming sessions, and code reviews.
Expand your knowledge in digital forwarding and logistics concepts.
Required Skills
- 【必須条件】
- バックエンドエンジニアとしての豊富な経験（5年以上）
- RubyおよびRuby on Railsの習得・習得への意欲（事前の経験は必須ではありません）
- SQLデータベース、DBモデリング、ORMの経験
- REST APIまたはGraphQLエンドポイントの設計経験
- セキュリティの原則とベストプラクティスを深く理解していること
- アーキテクチャ、データ構造、設計パターンに関する確かな理解
- タスクを自律的に管理し、明確な技術ドキュメントを作成できること
- What do you need to be successful in this role?
- Extensive (5+ years) experience as a back-end engineer
- Commitment to learn and master Ruby and Ruby on Rails (prior experience is not required)
- Experience with SQL databases, DB modeling, and ORMs
- Experience designing REST APIs or GraphQL endpoints
- Strong grasp of security principles and best practices
- Solid architectural understanding, data structures, and design patterns
- Ability to autonomously manage tasks and create clear technical documentation

- Experience in cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, etc.)
- Ability to quickly understand business requirements, and translate it into an appropriate architecture design
- Basic communication skills in Japanese are welcome
