Overview
We are looking for a motivated Product Designer (UI/UX Designer) with a passion for product design to join our team to work on reshaping complex products with intuitive and effective solutions in the cloud security industry. Fluency in both English and Japanese is a must, along with strong communication skills to seamlessly collaborate with our cross-functional teams.
You will be working in a leading cloud-based security provider in Japan, focusing on projects related to our flagship product, HENNGE One, which offers access control, email archiving, and other security and productivity-related functionalities for enterprise companies. Therefore, experience in BtoB projects or a strong interest in this field would be advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Develop visually appealing and user-centered designs based on requirements and research findings.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers in the design process for new features and enhancements.
- Utilize our established design system to maintain consistency and coherence across our interfaces.
- Continuously improve user experience through iterative design and feedback analysis.
- Advocate for user-centred design principles and contribute to the refinement of our design system.
- Assist in creating and maintaining design documentation, including style guides, design principles, and user personas.
- Work closely with customer support teams to address user feedback and identify areas for product improvement.
Required Skills
- Minimum Qualifications
- Three years of experience in UI/UX design, with a focus on product design.
- Proficiency in Figma for design collaboration and prototyping.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen analytical mindset.
- Good communication skills in both English and Japanese(N2 and above).
- Willingness to learn more about product design and conduct user interviews.
- Live, plan to live, or relocate within commuting distance of our Tokyo office
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in the security-related industry
- Experience working with design systems.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices to ensure inclusivity in design solutions.
- Experience conducting user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to inform design decisions.

- Working Hours
- 10:00-19:00
- Flex Time (Core Time is 10:00-15:00) with 1hr break
- Remuneration
- Variable depending on experience and skill. (Please take a look at our Company Introduction Deck's explanation of our Assessment System as well as the Belt System we use.)
- Examples of possible remuneration. However, please understand we cannot guarantee these values at the time of offer.
- 3 years experience of UI/UX Design, JLPT N2, Business-level English: 6.8M~9.3M JPY
- Bonus
- Once a year (December)
- Approximately 2 months' worth of salary is to be expected. (can vary with company/team/individual performance and evaluation)
- Promotion/Raises
- Yearly assessment, once a year (January)
- Other benefits
- English allowance: 10,000JPY ~ 130,000JPY / month, paid alongside base salary, if the employee fulfills the requirements
- Office Bonus: Starting October 2025, 4,000 JPY / day for coming to the office and interacting with other employees, paid out as bonus according to the number of days. Details will be provided at the offer meeting.
