Background
estie has built one of the largest office real estate data bases in Japan, and is developing and operating multiple products based on this data.
We are building an in-house data management infrastructure to enable multiple product teams to collect, process, and store data at high quality and high speed, and to create an environment in which the data built by other products can be used securely.
To build and continuously improve these infrastructures, we are looking for a data analysis infrastructure engineer to build a high-level infrastructure based on their knowledge and experience in data engineering.
Responsibilities
- Building and operating a company-wide dashboard for important KPIs
- Collaborating with organizations that want to utilize data, such as Customer Success, to support their operations using data
- Creating a system that allows employees (CS, product managers, software engineers) who want to analyze data and software engineers who want to build data pipelines for products to achieve their goals with low barriers and safely.
Required Skills
- Experience working with business-side members, such as executives, sales, and customer success, on everything from defining outcomes to dashboard implementation and improvement.
- Experience using BI tools such as Tableau and Looker.
- Experience performing data analysis using SQL and Python.
- Experience using and proposing improvements to data management platforms (including business process improvements).
Preferred Skills
- Software development experience using languages such as Python, whether professional or personal
- Experience building a data management infrastructure
- Knowledge of IaC (Infrastructure as a Computing) such as Terraform, and practical operational experience
- Knowledge of AWS and practical development experience
- Knowledge of Snowflake and practical development experience
- Knowledge of RDBMS, table design, and practical experience with database tuning
- Experience using and selecting BI tools such as Tableau and Looker
- Experience using and building data processing tools such as dbt
